1. What is TESmart ID?
TESmart ID is your unified account within the TESmart ecosystem. It is automatically created when you place an order or subscribe using your email—no separate registration required. After email verification, you can access all benefits, including warranty services, environmental recycling / trade-in, testing programs, and exclusive events.
2. How does Environmental Recycling work?
The process works as follows:
- Submit your device information and required photos for online evaluation;
- Ship your device back after approval and provide a trackable shipping number;
- Once tracking shows the package is in transit, TESmart will issue the approved recovery value (as Store Credit, or—if eligible—as a refund applied to a recent order) and reimburse eligible return shipping costs based on your receipt;
- Final verification is completed after the device is received.
3. Which products are eligible?
Eligible products include: KVM switches, KVM extenders, Matrix products. Accessories such as cables, remote controls, and power adapters are not eligible.
4. How much is my old device worth?
Recovery value is evaluated based on the original paid price, device age, and condition. As a reference:
- Up to 50% within 3 years
- Up to 40% within 4 years
- Up to 30% within 5 years
Devices older than 5 years are accepted for free eco-recycling. Final recovery value is determined after evaluation.
5. How does return shipping work?
Please ship the device using a trackable method. Prepaid return labels are not currently provided, so shipping may need to be paid upfront.
Once tracking shows the shipment is in transit, recovery value issuance and eligible shipping reimbursement may be initiated.
Final inspection is completed after the device is received.
6. I didn't buy from the official website. Can I still participate?
Yes. Devices purchased from authorized channels (such as TESmart's official Amazon store or certified distributors) are eligible with valid proof of purchase. After verification, the approved recovery value will be issued to your TESmart ID.
7. Do I need a TESmart ID to participate?
Yes. Environmental Recycling and Trade-in services are available only to activated TESmart ID users. Your TESmart ID is created automatically when you order or subscribe and becomes active after email verification.
8. What if my device isn't eligible for recovery value?
Devices that are not eligible for recovery value can still be recycled free of charge.
9. How can I check my account and recovery value?
Log in to your TESmart account to view your recovery value, store credit, and order history.
10. Can I delete my TESmart ID?
Yes. You may contact customer support to request account deletion. Unused benefits will expire and are non-refundable.
