Why Choose HKS1601-M24

Overview

HKS1601-M24 selling-point graphic compares 60Hz and 144Hz motion and highlights 4K144 HDR and variable-refresh support.

01

8K60 for Detail. High-Refresh 4K for Motion.

HDMI 2.1 provides 48Gbps bandwidth with support up to 8K@60Hz 4:4:4 and backward compatibility through 4K@144Hz, plus VRR, FVA, ALLM and DSC on supported hardware.

HKS1601-M24 EDID comparison graphic shows desktop layouts staying stable with EDID emulation.

02

EDID Keeps Every PC Display-Ready

EDID emulation on the input ports keeps monitor information available to connected systems, helping reduce resolution changes and display re-detection when switching across a large PC pool.

03

Control It Locally or Remotely

Switch through front-panel controls, IR remote, keyboard hotkeys or mouse-wheel control. LAN and RS232 interfaces support managed or integrated deployments where the KVM may not sit within arm's reach.

Specifications & Support

Compatibility & Input Guide

PC 1–16 — Computer Inputs
Each computer connects HDMI video and USB to the corresponding input group.

MONITOR — HDMI Display
Connect one HDMI display. For 8K60 or high-refresh 4K, use a compatible HDMI 2.1 source, monitor and cable.

Control Integration
LAN and RS232 are control interfaces for the KVM. They do not provide a shared network connection to the sixteen computers.

Important Before Purchase
The uploaded manual lists 8K60 and backward compatibility through 4K144, while the current selling page also markets 4K240 with DSC. This workbook uses the manual's more conservative 4K144 specification until the final published capability is confirmed.
