A Note About “Quiet” That Led to a Visible Improvement

While using the HDK402-M24, one user noticed that although the device operated reliably, the fan noise was quite noticeable in a typical office environment and could affect the overall experience. This wasn’t about performance specifications—it was about a real-world detail: when a device runs continuously nearby, can it do so more quietly?

From “Working Normally” to “More Comfortable to Use”

After receiving this feedback, the team conducted testing and analysis.
The original fan design used a single high-speed mode. Under heavy load or higher temperatures, it would continue running at full speed. Functionally this was correct, but in everyday environments it produced clearly audible noise.
To address this, the team refined the fan control logic:
  • Two-speed fan mode: low and high speeds that switch automatically based on temperature
  • Maintains safe cooling performance while reducing unnecessary noise whenever possible

A Small Change, A Lasting Experience

Fan noise may not be an obvious feature issue, but it’s something users perceive every day. With this optimization, the HDK402-M24 remains stable and high-performing—now with a quieter, more comfortable working environment.

The real value of this update lies in one thing: real user feedback directly shaped a meaningful product improvement, making every use closer to what users truly need.
